I was hungry and you gave me something to eat

One of the passages in the Gospels that we try to live by is found in Matthew 25:31-46 where Jesus says, “For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.” (verses 35-36)

Jail ministry takes place every Wednesday.

Thanks to your faithful support, we were able to do all those things in 2019. We regularly took weekly groceries to the elderly, homebound and disabled. Many able-bodied but financially struggling families also received food at our two Food Banks in Juarez.

Our ministry to the prisoners in the city jail in Juarez continued each week. We brought them food, a hot or cold drink depending on the weather, and the Word of God to encourage them.

Our medical and dental clinics hummed steadily along as our doctors, dentists and their assistants ministered to the sick and hurting who came through our doors.

With God’s help and your continued accompaniment, we plan on doing all of the same and more in 2020.

May the Lord bless you and your loved ones with a very happy and healthy New Year!
