We recently shared with you the multiplication of concrete in a renovation project at one of our buildings on The Lord’s Ranch. Here is the other multiplication of materials that happened there.
Francisco and Lorena, friends of our community, own and operate a foam installation company. They agreed to do this project for us, which involved spraying insulation on the walls of this large building. The material they use comes in 55 gallon drums in liquid form and gets applied to the walls and ceilings through an electric spraying machine.
They wanted to use the best material they work with and searched their warehouse to see if they had any left. They found two partially-used drums along with a brand-new one. Francisco doesn’t know where the unopened drum came from. He told us, “I keep good inventory, especially on the expensive materials, and this brand runs around $3000 a drum. It’s the most expensive stuff I use and the best quality which I have to special order from Canada. But none of us know where that full barrel came from.”
With the material they had on hand, Francisco sprayed all the areas of the building that needed to be covered. In fact, right when he was getting to the final section, the barrel started bouncing around and making the pounding sound that indicates it is almost empty. They tipped the barrel so the nozzle would reach the remaining liquid, and they were able to finish the downward swipe with the spray gun right at the exit door. It was exactly the right amount to do the job.
But the story gets even better. He shared later, “Remember that foam insulation material that I told you about, that I couldn’t explain the volume or amounts? Well when we got back and unloaded the drums into the warehouse, the barrel that wasn’t in our original inventory was completely full again when we unloaded it! I can’t get my mind around that!”
Francisco and Lorena had graciously agreed to do this job without charging us, and the Lord blessed them abundantly – not only with the actual material needed for the project, but He also repaid their generosity with more material to use for their next job. Blessed be God!
Have a very happy New Year! God bless you.
