The Lord's Food Bank

Cd. Juarez, Mexico

Serving God and

Serving those in need

Located in Colonia 16th of September in west Juarez, the Lord’s Food Bank began in 1976. It started out in the yard of someone’s house but eventually moved to the mesa where it is now located.

The Lord’s Food Bank serves the needy of the area by providing groceries, home visits to the sick and elderly, a Montessori school, a free medical and dental clinic, and other social outreaches.

Providing food for the hungry

Food is distributed weekly to those in need.

  • 80 families receive a week’s worth of groceries on Wednesdays
  • 95 families receive a week’s worth of groceries on Fridays

Visiting the sick and elderly

We visit the homes of people in the neighborhood who are disabled, elderly or too sick to come to our Food Bank. We bring them groceries as well as pray with them and find out how they are doing.
