Last month we shared with you our efforts to make sure that the people in need whom we serve would still be able to get food. More and more requests are coming into the Lord’s Food Bank asking for aid in feeding the hungry in Juarez who are experiencing hardships due to the coronavirus situation.
We want to help as many as we can, even when our funds get low. Our experience has always been that God somehow provides, and it’s exciting to see how He takes care of His people.
Most recently we got a call from another non-profit organization in El Paso that had received a large donation of perishable goods. They couldn’t use all that they were given, nor did they have room to store it, so they called us. We gladly went and picked up several pickup truck loads of yogurt, apples, carrots, liquid eggs, and boxes of bacon! What a blessing!
Making multiple trips, we were able to cross the food over to our Food Bank and deliver it to those in need. The Lord does indeed provide.
