When we deliver groceries to the sick and homebound each Friday in Juarez, we always ask each person or family what they would like us to pray for. Then we pray out loud together, bringing those needs before the Lord.
Recently when we went to Toñita’s house and asked her that, she said she was feeling so bad. She had pain in her kidneys and inflammation of her stomach. We could tell she was hurting a lot. “I feel very bad,” she told us. “Please pray for me.”
Those visiting her that day joined hands and prayed. “Lord Jesus, please heal our sister, Toñita, who feels so ill. Nothing is impossible for You!”
Toñita exclaimed, “The pain left me as soon as we started praying. I don’t feel any of it anymore – not in my kidneys, not in my stomach, nowhere. The pain left just like that! I feel fine!”
We returned the following week and Toñita was still pain-free. Thank you, Jesus!
