At the Lord’s Food Bank in Juarez, Mexico, the children have been enjoying the beautiful playground enclosure that we completed at the end of 2024. It includes a large soccer field, a basketball court, and a general play area. However, when temperatures soar in the summer, it can be blisteringly hot on the artificial turf.
Thanks be to God, a local group reached out to us, saying they would like to donate an industrial-strength overhead shade for part of the playground. It was installed last month and will be such a blessing as we move into the hotter months of the year.
Besides being practical, it also provides a lively splash of color and looks very inviting in the desert landscape where we live.
The kids are thrilled with this new addition to their favorite space. And we are grateful for all the kind people who help us so generously, including all of you!
