Helping Mothers in Need

Angelica came to us a few months ago saying that it was really on her heart to start a program for pregnant moms in need. We used to have this outreach in Juarez for many years, but the volunteers who ran it had moved, so it stopped.

As a young 16-year-old, Angelica had gotten pregnant and was greatly helped by this ministry. Now as a married mother of 3, she wants to give back to pregnant women who need help.

We thought it was a wonderful idea, so we gave her a classroom and some storage space, and then began saving donations for her of baby items, baby formula, and diapers. The moms who come also receive groceries.

This ministry is growing and we have 12 new moms enrolled in our program. Our biggest need is for baby diapers. (We would be very grateful if you can donate baby diapers for this important ministry. You can send them to The Lord’s Ranch, 230 High Valley Road, Vado, NM 88072)

Father Thomas always taught us that is more blessed to give than to receive and that we can’t outgive God. It is so gratifying when people who have benefitted from our ministries in turn want to be a blessing for others.
