The year 2020 will definitely go down in the books as one of the strangest and most challenging years in recent history – so many new obstacles and trials to overcome, a different way of life to adapt to, and the creative solutions that arose from people striving to stay connected and trying to help one another.
When the pandemic first hit, it took us a little while to figure out how we could continue our ministries in a safe way. But our volunteers rose to the challenge, donned masks, and got to work. In Juarez, Mexico, as factory after factory shut down and people lost their jobs, more people came to us needing food and medicines. But we were also blessed with more donations of food from organizations wanting to help.
And even though classes were moved online, students still needed notebooks, pens, paper, crayons, etc. Thanks to some generous donations, we were able to get the children what they needed as family by family came to pick up the school supplies we had for them.
As we head into this holiday season and coming new year, we are filled with gratitude for your support and prayers as we try to bring hope and joy to families in often desperate situations. They join us in praying for you and your loved ones.
Merry Christmas!
